Job Description: As a Medical Assistant at our bustling internal medicine practice , you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of office. You will be responsible for performing various clinical and administrative tasks, with a strong focus on patient care and safety. Key responsibilities include:

Conducting point-of-care testing for COVID-19, flu, strep, and other relevant tests.
Showcasing your expertise as a skilled phlebotomist, ensuring accurate and efficient blood collection.
Assisting healthcare providers with patient exams and procedures.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Engaging with patients in a professional and compassionate manner, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Multitasking effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely patient care.

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant with relevant experience.
Proven track record as a skilled phlebotomist.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Proficiency in performing various point-of-care tests, including COVID-19, flu, and strep.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Commitment to patient confidentiality and safety.
Previous experience in a busy medical office preferred.
