Part Time 16 hours, every other weekend 6am-2am shift
Part Time 24 hours, 3pm-11pm shift
Per Diem
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. This includes assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating, as well as monitoring and reporting changes in patient health status. The CNA will also assist with maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and report changes in patient health status to nursing staff
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe patient environment
- Answer patient call lights and requests for assistance
- Take and record patient vital signs
- Assist with patient mobility, including transferring and positioning patients
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Perform other duties as assigned by nursing staff
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Connecticut
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Physical ability to lift and move patients and equipment
